Day One focuses on understanding the core principles of French haircutting and putting them into practice on a doll head.
You’ll learn:

Body positioning and ergonomics
Vertical sectioning and simplified points of rotation
How elevation and overdirection create shape
Working with larger sections while maintaining control
Intentional weight removal
How to create softness, movement and balance
Guided hands-on practice through foundational haircut shapes
The goal is not to memorize one haircut. It is to understand the system well enough to recognize how and why the shape is being created.
After a full day of learning and practice, Day Two gives you the opportunity to revisit the technique with a live model.

How to troubleshoot shape, balance and weight
Blending without overworking the haircut
Adapting the technique for different densities and textures
Refining layers, perimeters and internal movement
Dry detailing and finishing techniques
How to personalize the cut instead of repeating a formula
How to apply the technique to your salon clients
Live-model education in the morning & application in the afternoon
The live-model portion brings everything together, showing you how the technique translates to real hair, with growth patterns, density changes, texture and all the variables a doll head politely leaves out.

One professional-quality doll head
Tripod stand
Shears
Long cutting comb
Sectioning clips
Water bottle
Blow dryer and preferred finishing tools
Bulk doll-head ordering may be coordinated separately once the class is confirmed. Live-model details will be provided before the training.
A minimum of six paid attendees is required to confirm the training.
Your registration holds your place. The class and travel arrangements will be officially confirmed once the six-stylist minimum has been reached. If minimum enrollment is not met by the confirmation deadline, you may transfer your registration to another available class or receive a full refund.
Once the class is confirmed, tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another licensed stylist with advance notice.
Classes requiring travel must be scheduled at least three months in advance.
Space is intentionally limited so every stylist has time to cut, ask questions and receive meaningful feedback.
